The brutal attacks on Gaza have killed nearly 43,000 people and injured over 90,000. More than 1.8 million residents of Gaza have been forced to flee their homes with nowhere to run that is safe. Residential buildings, public areas, schools, agricultural sites, places of worship and medical facilities have all been targeted.

Gaza is a home to 2 million people, one of the most densely populated cities on Earth. One-third of Palestinians live below the poverty line, and after 16 years of blockades and attacks, the two million residents of Gaza have been plunged into abject poverty. 80% of the population relies on aid for their survival, with food, medication, water, and electricity supplies at an all-time low.

Innocent children in Gaza are trapped in a cycle of suMering and trauma. They once again live with the horror of airstrikes looming over them.

Many Palestinians and humanitarian organisations continue to describe Gaza as the world’s largest open-air prison, a rigidly controlled strip of land with very little opportunity for movement, escape or growth.

Israeli air strikes have destroyed tens of thousands of homes, with 4 in 5 people having to flee their homes. Many have been forced to seek shelter in dozens of schools and hospitals. To make matters worse, the healthcare system is on the brink of collapse, due to widespread destruction and damage of hospitals.

Just as our Palestinian brothers & sisters refuse to succumb to Israeli occupation, we must proudly stand in solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine.

In the midst of these attacks on Gaza, our partner charities have distributed tons of food and much needed essentials to support the people of Gaza.

We’ve launched a united appeal with Ummah Welfare Trust, One Nation and One Ummah to collectively provide emergency aid and bring some relief to the people of Palestine.

With your support, Unity Aid will be a lifeline for Palestinian families. Please give generously to our Gaza Emergency Appeal now.

The Prophet ( صلى الله عليه وسلم) said “Whoever relieves a Muslim of distress, Allah will relieve him of distress on the Day of Resurrection.” [Bukhari & Muslim]

Funds raised from this appeal will go towards our Gaza emergency appeal, helping provide the Palestinians in Gaza with what they actually require as the situation continues to change on a daily basis.
